Puzzle shelves are expensive and often narrow - making it hard to see what the picture on the puzzle is before selecting it. I decided to search for a metal letter stand at a garage sale - and I found one. I turned it on it's end and secured it to the back of the toy shelf with velcro - then slipped in the puzzles. Lots of space and open to view. Best of all it cost 50 cents! :)

Ok - how easy is that??
ReplyDeleteExcellent love it puzzles can be so hard to store.
ReplyDeleteI have used plastic letter trays but they are less firm and secure, but they will work fine if you cannot find metal.
ReplyDeleteLove your idea, I too have been using plastic trays but I am going to try this :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it Betty - hope it works just as well for you!
ReplyDeletewhere did you find that school bus puzzle? That was my all-time childhood favorite! Any info on where to look? Who makes it? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThat puzzle is very old - Sorry I have no idea where it came from. Most of the things I have in my room I get at garage sales ad thrift shops - I get awesome finds that way!
